Tifanie Steele is the General Manager of the Chevron Pasadena Refinery, a position she assumed in January 2023. She is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible operations of the refinery.

Tifanie joined Chevron in 2002 as a process engineer at the Richmond, California Refinery. Previous positions held include Operations Manager for the Pasadena Refinery and General Manager Office of the Chairman Corporate Strategy & Sustainability. She has held a variety of roles in process engineering, environmental, strategic planning, and operations at Chevron refineries including Richmond, Calif., Salt Lake City, Pascagoula, Miss., and now Pasadena.

She graduated from Arizona State University with a BSE in Chemical Engineering.

Originally from Houston, Tifanie’s Interests include running marathons, traveling, reading, and spending time with family.
